On Friday, November 2 I am teaching the Fortissimo pattern at Quilt Festival in Houston. I involves simple piecing and two types of appliqué. It is amazing to me how different fabrics change the look of this quilt. I choose very lively and bold prints for the first Fortissimo. They are so bold that they hide some of the hearts and circles. My friend Myra created two quilt kits for the pattern. The one with tropical green leaf prints and the bold one with red and blue. If you are coming to Houston and would like one of the two kits please email me and order one. You may sew the background together before class to allow you more time for the appliqué.
